This weekend, Ansião presents a tasteful event where you can taste the best regional products.
The event combines the traditional Rabaçal Cheese Fair with Wine and Olive Oil and Honey from Terras de Sicó Shows, as well as an Artistic Ceramics Exhibition.
Rabaçal Cheese is the most wellknown product from Terras de Sicó. It’s a mature cheese traditionally manufactured, with half-hard to hard paste made of sheep and goat’s milk.
Besides the regional products there are other special offers to delight guests as gourmet cuisine areas and some special ones to kids,where they can produce cheese and bread. The aim is that older people can pass on wisdom, knowledge and experience to the younger generations.
